Best Place to Stay on the Las Vegas Strip for Cheap

I have made my yearly pilgrimage to Las Vegas for about 10 years now and have discovered that I have the best time for the least amount of money at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. Yes, there are more lucrative hotels to stay at and of course there are many cheaper rates along the strip; however, when you consider cost per room, amenities, daily travel expenses, comfort, food, and hospitality, you can not go wrong with the Mirage.

The Mirage offers very competitive rates and you just have to check often to catch their great specials. Things get competitive at certain times of the year and the Mirage is very good about keeping even or beating most midline hotels. They offer an upscale appearance throughout the hotel with a flair of elegance on the tropical side. By no means do you feel like you are at a cheap hotel when visiting this hotel. I consider the appearance to be 4 stars on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being majestically classy. If you want a 5 star hotel in this area then I suggest the Wynn Hotel or the Bellagio just be prepared to pay double or even triple the rates.

Now that you have secured a very nice hotel with great accommodations, you can start enjoying the benefits of your selection. One of those advantages is the centralized location of the hotel. The Mirage are use to be considered the far north end of the strip, but with all the northward expansion it has now become more centered along the strip. Most of the major casino’s are now within walking distance and you will not need to come up with the extra expenses of a cab or the monorail system. You may be drawn to cheaper hotel rates such as the Luxor or Circus Circus, but they are located at extreme opposite ends of the strip. They will require extra travel expenses for a cab to be able to visit the other major casinos. Once you add in these extra travel expenses you would have been better off paying the slightly higher rates to stay at the Mirage.

Another convenient advantage of the Mirage is that it is located directly across the street from a strip of restaurants and fast food locations. There is an Outback Steakhouse, Panda Express, McDonalds, Subway, Pizza Parlor and many other places. If you eat in the hotels be prepared to spend at least $15 for breakfast, $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner. This adds up very quickly and can break the bank on a 3-4 day stay. By staying at the Mirage and being so close to these eateries you can save a great amount of money.

Another advantage is the late night gambling at the casino. Many casinos stay jam packed into the early hours of morning. However, at the Mirage, it starts to thin out around 3am. It thins out just enough to keep it fun but also enough to where you do not have to wait to sit down at a table. In addition, my experience is that after this time, the odds of winning increase greatly. The dealers seem to offer more help and advice when it is not so crowded and I have always achieved my greatest winnings at these hours and at the Mirage.

I usually start out with poker online so as to get myself a warm up and then go for a nice game of slot and then move on to blackjack and Russian roulette where I don’t rest until I lose a fortune only to come back the next day and regain what I had lost the previous night.

The pool area at the Mirage is outstanding and very tropical. The setting makes you feel like you in the Bahamas or on some tropical island. There are different areas of the pool were you are free to explore. If you seek luxury and privacy there are Bahama huts that you may rent out. There is a children’s pool that is separated from the main pool. There is also a hot tub that is situated away from the main pool area and back into some trees. It is very relaxing and quiet back in the spa area. There is also a bar and restaurant area near the pool. If you are an adult and prefer a pool area that is topless and full of attention, you may visit the “adult” pool, which is separated and very secluded. Of course, there is a fee to use this pool and the fee is much cheaper for women.

The Mirage also offers many shows and attractions during different times of the years. Currently, they have the Cirque du Soleil®, ventriloquists, and other various comedians and performers. If you are into having a few drinks and dancing the night away, there is a top notch dance club just off the main casino floor. Be prepared to stand in a long line to get into this very popular club if you are a guy. Usually women get in first, so try to group yourself with a group of women to ensure quicker entrance. Also, outside you will find the Siegfried  amp; Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. There you will find beautiful species of lions, tigers, panthers, leopards, and dolphins. Every night on the hour, the large Volcano in front of the hotel erupts with bright colors and music for spectators to enjoy. Be sure to bring the camera as you definitely want to capture those spectacular photos.

Lastly, the staff is very helpful and hospitable at all times. The hotel goes out of its way to make you feel at home. I have stayed at other hotels considered to be more “upscale” hotels but the staff at those places was just not as attentive as the Mirage. Be sure to leave enough camera space and time to check out the extra large saltwater aquarium located behind the check in counter. It is like being at the bottom of the ocean. Good luck and enjoy your stay!

Skylanders Giants – Nintendo Wii, Wii U, 3DS, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, &; PC – Review

I was on the fence for quite some time on Skylanders: Giants. I’ve never been a fan of Spyro, but I can spot a quality experience when I see one and I loved Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure. The sequel looked very fun and I was very impressed with the original’s utility of portal and figures. The main thing keeping me from taking the plunge was the hefty investment of $60-$75 for a sequel that might be more of a cash-in than anything else.

Activision is bringing the game to an array of game consoles. Skylanders: Giants is playable on the Nintendo Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and PC. The Nintendo Wii U and Wii versions shine brightest, but the PS3 and Xbox 360 provide excellent experiences as well. The only dud is the PC release. It’s visually disappointing and downright awful in terms of gameplay.

As a big fan of kaiju-themed games and collect-a-thons, I’ve become quite addicted to the Skylanders franchise. Now, for those unsure of which Skylanders to invest in, I’ll be giving my insight and perspectives on the roster for Skylanders: Giants. The best approach for gamers is to secure at least one Skylander from each element.

Gamers that own the original Skylanders for consoles will already have Spyro, Trigger Happy, and Gill Grunt. If you selected the portable version on the Nintendo 3DS, you’re treated to Dark Spyro, Stealth Elf, and Ignitor. Just like last time, the console version of Skylanders: Giants is an Action RPG with dungeon crawling, epic boss battles, and looting. The gameplay formula hasn’t changed significantly- the only major differences are the higher level cap of fifteen and the introduction of the titular giant Skylanders.

The 3DS version has more of a classic platformer and beats ’em up feel. The best experience is to invest in your home console of choice paired with the 3DS version to maximize the use of your Skylanders. While the 3DS version is clearly running on an enhanced engine from the original portable title, it does control with greater refinement.

Gameplay-wise the Nintendo Wii U version is easily the top contender. The Wii U’s unique control system excellently compliments the Skylander’s experience and the bright visuals are right at home on Nintendo’s new white dream machine. While gamers will have to wait until November to experience it, the Wii U version has been highly praised at events where it’s been shown.

If you aren’t yet investing in a Nintendo Wii U, the Wii version does just fine. Levels in the Wii version are better put together with less of a focus on being graphically impressive and more assets were invested in fun design when compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3. Heroic challenges are less tedious in the Wii version and the game mechanics are more forgiving.

Graphically, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are very impressive- though they pale in comparison to the stunning Wii U. Put simply, the bright, beautiful world of Skylanders: Giants comes to life on the HD consoles. Particle effects and character animations are excellently rendered and the game world appears to live and breathe. The co-op is fantastic regardless of which version you select.

The Skylanders, especially the new Giants, themselves are cleverly designed with both form and function in mind. The figures store progress internally and look great on display. The new Skylanders are looking absolutely great as additions to the already fantastic roster- with only a couple of exceptions. The battle system appears simple but is very deep for a game marketed at kids. The upgrade system keeps you replaying levels for more loot and the varied fighting styles of the large cast of characters will keep things interesting for long-term players.

The only real sour notes that Skylanders hits are in the Heroic Challenges and PVP. The real shame is that both these elements if more heavily polished since the original could have been excellent features. The PVP is decidedly unbalanced and lackluster. There are only a few PVP levels initially- though you can purchase more through the Adventure Packs. It would have helped if the PVP mode allowed for greater strategic play. The introduction of online play is a big plus for returning Portal Masters.

The Heroic Challenges are even more disappointing than PVP. These special, timed levels exist as a method of permanently increasing the stats of your Skylanders. On paper, that’s great. In practice, this means continuously replaying the same challenges for each of your figures. You unlock a new repetitive, overly strict heroic challenge with each Skylander purchase. While the PVP mode and Heroic Challenges do round out the overall package, it would have been nice if they’d seen more improvements since the original in 2011. Nonetheless, it still makes for an amazing game that I highly recommend. If you are still not sure about it then you can try Download Pkv Games Apk Android and see for yourself the amazing gameplay and reviews of this game.

Casinos

Casino Themed Games a virtual copy of real casinos! Have a look

I live in Nevada, and when I get home for a few days, the wife and I go out gambling. We generally play the same machines every time, mostly because we’ve won on them before. Here is a list of our favorites:

“Reel ‘Em In”

This is a fishing game. The object is to line up the fish, “Wild” fish are worth the most, then “green”, then “little blue fish”. The game has nine lines in different patterns, and can be played for a penny or a nickel. I always make a point of playing every line, because there’s nothing more annoying than not playing all the lines and have a winning combination on a line you’re not playing. The second object of the game is to go fishing. You get to this part of the game by having the “lures” fall on consecutive lines. “Purple worms”, “blue lures” and “ugly bug eyes” are the terms I use to describe them. When you get three or more of the same lure on connected lines, you see the five fishermen. You select one and see what happens. Depending on the machine, you could catch a fish or tin can for whatever points it pays, or you might get a bottle. In one bottle will be a fishing trip to a new destination (Lake Mead, Scotland, Paris, and others). In the other bottle will be a fishing contest. You choose another fisherman and watch as they all reel in their catches. Whoever gets the most (and biggest) fish wins. The amount of your bet determines the pay offs for everything. It’s a whole lot of fun!

“Super Cherry”

This one is my favorite. It plays like any other theme game, but the object is to get either a “jailbreak” or a “line-up.” With the “jail break”, you get ten free spins and earn credits equal to the size of your bet. A “Super Cherry” appears during the rolls, giving you a multiplier. For example, the first “Super Cherry” gives a multiplier of two, the second of three, the third of four and so on. If the jailbreak icons come up during the free spins, you get ten more. The “line-up” shows five vegetables, each holding a sign. You select one and he turns to show his sign. The credit amounts vary depending on how much you’ve bet. Then you select another vegetable. He turns and shows his sign. The best you can hope for is the largest credit amount and the multiplier. I do a lot of winning on this one!

“Uncle Sam”

This all-American game had everything from Uncle Sam to the Constitution, to Mt. Rushmore, Lincoln and Washington (among a few others). Lining them up on any of the fifteen pay lines is the way to win. Uncle Sam is the biggest payer and is wild. If you get two or more matching flags beginning in the far left line, you get three spins to collect all five of the same flag. The more flags, the bigger the pay. You can get an IRS award if all three IRS icons show up. The amounts vary greatly, I’ve gotten as little as .15 cents and as much as $150. The other bonus game is “State Lottery”. The US is divided into five sections and you can choose three of them. The lotto tickets from each reveal your award. Sometimes the rewards are very small and sometimes they’re huge, depending on your bet. This one is the wife’s favorite.

“Frog Prince”

This fairy tale based game is lots of fun. It has fifteen lines and like the others can be played for a penny, a nickel or more. What you win depends on the size of your bet. The object of the bonus games is to either line up all five books or to kiss a frog and find the prince. With the books, you select one to tell you how many free spins you’ll get. It can be anywhere from one to six free games. Then you select a magic wand to give you the multiplier, which can also be anywhere from one to six. If you get the three frogs during the free spins you can make some serious money! You get to kiss the frogs and collect the multiplier times the actual prize. For example, if the prince pays 2000 and you have a multiplier of six, you get 12,000. At a penny a point, that’s $120.00! Concerning the frog kissing, when you get three frogs, each is sitting on a rock. You pick one and it will tell you how many kisses you get, 3, 4, or 5. You touch the screen for each kiss and can stop at any time. If the Prince appears, it’s done and you collect the maximum. I usually stop if I get one of the top three.

“Lobster Mania”

Another fishing game on 먹튀검증 has been launched recently and its made to play free for sometime and even after that a user can buy it in cost to cost pricing from the portal. But this one catches lobsters instead of fish. It has an ocean theme, with light houses, fishing boats, etc. The object of the bonus game is to get as many traps as possible. When three lobsters appear on the screen, you select one, giving you 2, 3, or 4 traps. After choosing one of the three, you go to the lobster boat and pick the appropriate number of buoys. Then “Larry the Lobster Man” drags your catch onto his boat. One at a time, he pulls the lobsters from the traps. Each one has a point value, they range from a few pennies to a few thousand pennies. If you get enough trips to the boat, you can make some serious money.

These are a few of our favorites, and we play them often. I talked to the wife tonight and she went playing with some friends. Her investment was $20.00 and she came home with $220. Like I said, you can do some serious winning! Remember, though, you can lose, too. That’s why they call it “gambling.”

3 Safety Tips for Online Gamers

Online gaming can be a lot of fun and relieving. It is also a brilliant way to make friends around and world and compete with them in a most fun-loving way. However, you should understand that the ‘online’ factor is not free from risks. There can be different types of harassment, dangers, and cyber bullying and online predators who can bring different threats to you if you do not implement the safety measures.

The risk increases because you generally make virtual friends whom you have never met in person. If you are avid gamer, you may be aware of this fact. However, novice players may not have the idea. Read the articles to know how to be safe while playing online games.

  • Avoid Exposing Your True Identity

You need to protect your true identity from the virtual world. When you are creating an account in any online gaming site, make sure to keep it anonymous. You should also not post your real picture with the account. Your real name or picture will help the predators identify you easily.

  • Avoid Revealing Any Personal Information

Avoid posting any personal information like age, gender or birth of date in every online gaming site. Phone number, addresses should also not be posted. This will be easier for the cyber bullying team to target you.

  • Block the Suspect

If you find it uncomfortable to play with a particular player or find anything suspicious, you can always block the player. If you face any type of abuse, you can immediately report the profile as well. Make sure to inform your friend and ask them to report the profile so that no one else suffers the same harassment in future.

These are three prime safety tips that you need to undertake whenever you play online games and make sure no harassment or bullying is encountered by you.

How to Make an Effective PvP Team in Guild Wars

Say you’re there, with 3 other people in Team Arena, you are totally un-sure about the team, you have a Ranger Spiker, Touch Ranger, some Warrior/Mesmer and yourself. It looks like you’re in for a good game.

A few minutes in the game, the Warrior/Mesmer has died, the Ranger Spiker is way out of maps range and the Touch Ranger just ran out of energy. We’re all pretty screwed. The opposition’s Dervish and Assassin are eating us up, spitting up out, trod on and eaten again by wild beasts. You were absolutely hopeless.

But then you come across this guide! The very guide for you to use so that you can make an effective team on Guild Wars! This guide will only tell you how to make an effective team and how to use them.

First of all, all teams need a healer. Of course, you can’t just slap in a Healing Breeze and an Orison of Healing and toss in the attractive looking Healing Words. You need a proper monk, one that can effectively look after your team. But look, I’m no monk, I am useless, you need to have skills and timing and all sorts of things. A monk needs to protect the team with some good spells, make sure they don’t just scatter around the spot so you’re desperately looking for someone to heal. Monks CONTROL the group. Slap in a Word of Healing, Protective Spirit, Shielding Hands and possibly your Healing Breeze, and you’ve got something happening.

Then there are your main attackers. Of course, you can have a team of 1 attack and 3 healers, but you WON’T get anywhere, the opposition can’t kill anything because they have 3 healers that will only do a bit of damage, plus the main attacker, which will probably hit a 100 every now and then to win in casino online Indonesia for the betting odds which is quiet interesting as well. But then you have no hope for killing them, because they have three healers, they’ll be healing their butts off. So to effectively put up a good attacker, you need attack skills. Something to start off and then a finishing move. A starter can be one that will hit a lot with a long recharge, but then when they’re about to die, use your final hit which MUST hit at least 100. Unless you can pull it off some other way. You can pull this off by inflicting deep wound which normally gets them down to less than 100 healths if they’re almost dead. But really, any Fire Elementalist can EASILY finish off any one with about 170 healths no problem.

Then you MIGHT want a capper or a protector (this is not recommended). A protector might normally be an Earth Elementalist or a Monk. Monks are preferred because they have a healing bonus if they put up the Divine Favour attribute. An earth Elementalist is very uncommon because an Elementalists main job is to finish and to worry the opponents with their high damage.

Mass Effect 2

2183 A.D. The first Mass Effect game takes players on a varied and engaging voyage across the galaxy, in an effort to stop a colossal menace, along the way having to combat rogue agents, robot zombies, unseen antagonists, with the option of genocide, messianic options, and everything in between as a resolution.

Two years later, both in-universe and in reality, Mass Effect 2 launches to much praise. Upon picking it up, a few things stuck out as improvements over the original. A few unique games of similar gameplay have also been released on DominoQQ and are really enjoyed by the players.

First, the camera. While it seems like a paltry thing, a good camera system can make or break a game. Resident Evil 4, considered by some to be the best in the series, was revitalized largely by the new perspective. Mass Effect 2 does nothing so dramatic, but the camera feels more cinematic, swinging more fluidly and focusing to keep a crisp view on the action.

Second, the player animations. Bioware still has some flaws to work out with their character modeling system (Miranda’s model, for instance, sits firmly in the Uncanny Valley), the general animations are much improved. Running through fire, Shepard will raise his hands to cover his face. In the cold of space, he’ll shiver. Characters wince away from nearby bullet impacts, or scuttle behind cover in different ways to minimize the amount of their bodies that’s exposed.

After those first two things jumped to the fore, I continued to play. The story is largely the same in premise, Shepard is the only person who stands between humanity and extinction. This is not a bad thing. A well written script (coupled with Martin Sheen’s outstanding performance as the antagonist-turned-wary-friend Illusive Man) turn a hackneyed plot into a space epic, with characters showing genuine concern, guilt, and fear over their fates.

The game does a good job of keeping the pace of the story moving. There wasn’t a point where I felt that the story should have been condensed to stop it from being slow. Another improvement over the original is the change to the inventory and leveling system. Fewer skills mean less to spend points on, and as such there are fewer levels. From 60 being the maximum in the original, 20 seems to be the highest one can expect to be during the first run. The inventory system is greatly reduced, and there’s no longer any agonized lingering over what items to keep, and what to change into space goop.

With a higher focus on action, Mass Effect 2 manages to defeat an obstacle many action games have had trouble tackling without stumbling: Quicktime events. Normally, a game will present a quicktime event as an easy (or not so easy) ‘press x to not die’ sequence. Mass Effect 2’s are treated differently, with a right or left mouse click corresponding to a paragon or renegade action (hero or anti-hero, respectively).

All this praise, however, doesn’t mean Bioware’s new game is without flaw. The justification for Commander Shepard’s scarring is lackluster at best, and wall-bangingly frustrating at the worst.

On the topic of Commander Shepard, the male voice actor was still a lump of coal in the pile of diamonds that is the rest of the talent pool for Mass Effect 2. It can be forgiven, though, in that it’s hard to record dialogue in a multitude of different tones and inflections, responding to the same event, and still seem genuine.

The last major flaw I saw was the final battle. After a suitably monumental struggle through the antagonist base, numerous (optional) character deaths, Shepard and crew are confronted with an enemy that seems like it would have been more in line with a Terminator fan fiction story than the until-then largely untarnished story of Mass Effect.

But even with the flaws, Mass Effect 2 suffers from none of the decay and dreariness that tends to hang around sequels of large games like smog. With an improved weapons and inventory system, a wider cast of characters, and a more streamlined world, and a very interactive, possibly heart-wrenching ending, Mass Effect 2 trumps the original, standing on the shoulders of the predecessor and reaching new heights for the action game genre. Between Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins, Bioware has firmly secured itself a place in video game history as innovators, inventors, and taleweavers of epic proportions, crafting wonderful game after wonderful game. Mass Effect 2 absolutely lives up to the standard set by other games- and surpasses them.
